OUR MISSION
Keeping Local Capital in the Community
Kelvin Andrew Taylor · Founder & CEO, KINVEST Guidance LLC
Major corporations use elite digital infrastructure to capture every dollar. Our mission is to put that same power in the hands of the independent, Black-owned businesses that are the backbone of our communities.
The Foundation of Leadership
My journey began with over 13 years in field marketing and sales leadership. As a former Regional Manager, I drove high-level results through strategic partnerships with AT&T leadership and national account teams, leveraging data platforms like DOMO and Repsly to identify opportunities and optimize performance at scale. That decade-plus in corporate leadership taught me exactly what it takes to build, manage, and sustain a successful business ecosystem.
Identifying the Digital Gap
Throughout my career, I noticed a recurring wealth leak in our local communities. While major corporations capture every dollar with elite digital tools, our small, independent mom-and-pop businesses — the backbone of Converse and San Antonio — fall through the digital gap. I saw talented entrepreneurs like those at Hair Maddness LLC delivering world-class service, yet lacking the directory visibility and technology to keep local capital in the community. That realization shifted my focus from corporate growth to community prosperity.
The Vision for KINVEST
As Founder and CEO of KINVEST Guidance LLC, my mission is to stabilize our local economy by empowering the Founding 100. We're building more than a directory — a tech-forward infrastructure rooted in success and professional sophistication. We're vetting our first 100 partners to join an elite network that modernizes how we support local commerce. Combining sales leadership with a heart for community advocacy, I'm dedicated to giving every business a clear path to long-term sustainability and Green Prosperity.
